AutoAfterWorld.COM — Vehicles affected by service campaign:
- 2011 Hyundai Sonata
- 2012 Hyundai Sonata
The problem: Over time, the brake pedal stopper pad may deteriorate. If this happens, the rear brake lights may illuminate continuously, the traction control warning lamp might illuminate on the dash, and drivers could be able to move the shift lever without depressing the brake pedal. The engine management system's brake pedal override feature may also be activated.
