Corrective action: Dealers will check for trouble codes related to engine misfire on cylinders 2, 4 and 6. If misfire is noted, dealers will perform a cylinder leakage test. If loss of pressure is observed, dealers will replace the cylinder head.
Warranty info: Repairs will be done under the provisions of an extended engine warranty. Warranty coverage will be determined on a case-by-case basis.
What owners should do: Call your local dealer with your vehicle's identification number to determine if it is eligible for this extended warranty. You can also call Chrysler at 800-247-9753, Dodge at 800-423-6343, Jeep at 877-426-5337 or NHTSA at 888-327-4236. Reference TSB No. 09-002-14B.
