Vehicles affected by service bulletin:

  • 2010 Hyundai Tucson with six-speed automatic transmission
  • 2011 Hyundai Tucson with six-speed automatic transmission
  • 2012 Hyundai Tucson with six-speed automatic transmission
  • 2013 Hyundai Tucson with six-speed automatic transmission

The problem: These vehicles may have faulty axles that come loose from the transmission over time. Should this occur, the axle could completely disengage from the transmission, causing noise and/or loss of power to the drive wheels. Loss of power to the wheels while driving could result in a vehicle crash. Additionally, when parked, the vehicle could unintentionally move, resulting in a crash or injury to a pedestrian.
