The problem: When opening the sun visor, the pivot pins bind. This is due to the spring tension being too great, causing weak pivot pins to break.

Corrective action: Dealers will replace both sun visors.

Warranty info: This service bulletin is being done free of charge under Mini's new-vehicle or extended warranty, whichever applies.
