2017 Audi Q5 Spied Testing in New York City

The 2017 Audi Q5 has been spied testing in New York City.

A friend of enthusiast website spotted the prototype Audi Q5 sporting the typical camouflage pattern automakers use in an attempt to conceal details. This isn’t the first time we have seen the next-generation Audi Q5 testing, but this time it looks like Audi is testing the Q5’s Traffic Jam assist technology, which was recently announced on the new A3. Some would argue there’s no better place to test Traffic Jam assist than in New York City.

Expect the Audi Q5 to benefit from the same technology upgrades found in recent Audi models, including Virtual Cockpit, next-generation MMI touch, adaptive cruise control and other high-tech features. Powering the Q5 will likely be the same 2.0-liter TFSI engine found in the Audi A4, packing around 252 horsepower for the luxury crossover.

The company still hasn’t confirmed when the new Q5 will make its debut, but the 2016 Paris Motor Show seems to be a good spot for it to bow.
